While Rev. Chris is away on his sabbatical journey, we will also be on a journey to continue to answer our call to serve the Greater New Bedford community. Although we will be doing this without Chris’ leadership, we will be continuing the work we have been doing under the leadership of many who already oversee these efforts. This pamphlet has been prepared to help guide you through this journey and let you know who to contact, and how, if an issue arises. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need something or have a question.
As Senior Warden, I will assume many of Chris’ responsibilities with the Diocese and right here in the parish. I know I don’t do that alone, the Vestry and other Officers, as well as the many in leadership positions in our parish will be working with me to ensure we have a successful journey. Please don’t hesitate to contact me whenever you have an issue or question and I will do my best to respond or help you out. I can be reached at 508-923-9536 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
During this time, the Rev. Ran Chase will be with us to lead us in worship and support our pastoral needs. Ran has served as “supply clergy” for Grace Church on numerous occasions over the past few years, and his familiarity and comfort with the parish makes him a perfect fit to assist us during Rev. Chris’ sabbatical. We look forward to having Rev. Ran with us during the fall and early winter months.
This is a wonderful opportunity for us to continue to grow and get to know each other better. Together we will work to discern God’s call to us and the good purposes He has for us.
We wish Rev. Chris and his family a time of refreshment and renewal and look forward to their return in January 2019!
