Blessing of The Animals

The Blessing of the Animals is one of Grace’s best loved traditions. The Blessing of the Animals is celebrated on the Sunday closest to the feast of St. Francis at the Saturday 5:00 pm and Sunday 10:00 am services.

Pets, live or stuffed, quiet or barking — all of our furry, finned, and winged friends are blessed. The Sunday service includes our traditional procession of St. Francis and his friends portrayed by our Acolytes and their friends.

The dates for 2018 are 5 pm on Saturday, October 6th and 10 am on Sunday, October 7th.
